Messaging
Channels for topics, threads for details, DMs for everything else.
Ketvia is a complete team messaging app. The assistant is an addition, never a requirement.
Sample workspace showing the #launch channel with unread channels in the sidebar, a file, reactions, and an open thread panel on the right.
Channels
Public channels for open topics, private channels for the people who need them. Each channel shows its topic and members at the top.
- Unread counts in the sidebar
- Private channels marked with a lock
- Topic line under the channel name
Threads
Reply in a thread and the channel stays readable. The thread opens beside the conversation, so you never lose your place.
- Reply count and last reply on the message
- Thread panel next to the channel
Direct messages
One-to-one or with a few people, without opening a channel. Direct messages with the assistant are private.
- Unread badges per conversation
- Same files and reactions as channels
Mentions and activity
Mention someone with @ and it lands in their Activity. Replies to your threads collect there too.
- One place for everything addressed to you
- Jump straight to the message
Files
Attach files to any message and open them inside the app. Documents in the file library can be searched by meaning, not just by name.
- PDF, PNG, JPEG, TXT, Markdown and JSON, up to 5 MB
- Access follows the channel’s permissions
Search and the command palette
Search messages by keyword and narrow by person, channel and date. Jump to any channel or person from the command palette.
- Results only from what you can access
- Private assistant answers are left out of search
The small things that add up
- ReactionsReply with an emoji instead of another message.
- Edit and deleteFix a typo or take a message back.
- Typing indicatorSee when someone is already answering.
- RolesOwner, admin, member and guest.
- Workspace addressEach workspace opens on its own subdomain, like yourteam.ketvia.com.
- Help and statusHelp inside the app, plus a public service status page.
On your phone, soon.
The iOS app is coming soon to the App Store, with the same channels, threads and assistant answers. Until then, Ketvia runs in any modern browser.
